Casting Call.

Greetings,

I am with a Los Angeles television production company and we are currently in the early stages of developing a docu-soap show that would follow a family through the ups and downs of their regular day-to-day lives. We are looking for a single woman with no kids who is about to marry or has recently married a man with multiple children -- suddenly they have an "instant family." What's it like to go from a single gal's life to essentially a parent's? How do you navigate those waters? We are looking to make something that is upbeat and positive -- that all families can relate to -- something in the same vein as a show like "Jon & Kate Plus Eight." You can see more about our company, what we're developing, and clips from our programming on our website: http://www.pietown.tv Again, this is in the very early stages -- we're trying to find the right family to feature.

Would it be possible to have a casting notice posted on your site OR just get some recommendations from you on avenues to go down to find a great family? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

A little about us...Pie Town Productions was founded in 1995 and has produced over 3,200 episodes of programming in a variety of formats from daily series to network specials to weekly reality shows. Our client list over the last thirteen years includes: TLC, Paramount, A&E, WE, Lifetime Television, Logo, CMT, Discovery Heath, the Food Network, and HGTV. We've brought 44 series, 36 special projects, and 1 feature documentary to the market and have been honored with an Emmy for A Baby Story in 2003. We are currently producing the new Lifetime hit, DietTribe, among other projects.

Thank you for your time! Please feel free to contact me with any questions, suggestions, etc. You can see more about our company and the projects we're working on here: http://pietown.tv

Step by Step: MTV's True Life

MTV's True Life

received a casting call from MTV. They are looking for children of divorce ages 16 - 28, to share their stories and experiences.

You can read the casting call here

Also, the contact sent some additional information by email:

True Life: I Have a Blended Family

Is a new stepmother or stepfather about to enter your life and home… along with their kids? Is the size of your family about to double in a day? Is your parent’s same-sex partner moving in with him/her…and you? Are you trying to befriend your siblings-to-be but doubting the outcome? If you feel like your family is about to get blended, MTV wants to hear from you.

If you appear to be between the ages of 16 and 28, and your family is undergoing a major reconfiguration, email us at blended@mtvstaff.com with all of the details. Please be sure to include your name, location, phone number and a photo, if possible.

I'm hopeful that if anybody chooses to contact MTV and even do the show, that you'll share with us so we can watch!

My Sincere Apologies

To everybody.

I somehow let the registration on the domain name lapse - now I"m scrambling to get it back - or them, I should say.

We own www.lifeinablender.com
and www.lifeinablender.org

I'm working on it.
It could take a few days, but I assure everybody, it will be up and running again soon.

Spread the word :)

The latest

My apologies. The lifeinablender.com account was moved once from a different server. This caused there to be two DNS zones for the site. An error occurred yesterday which changed both the DNS zones. We have removed the old zone and corrected the new one. The site should resolve properly within 3-4 hours.

Oh duh, now I see Titanium's message - I'm getting the same error. Boo!

LIAB

I cannot get on LIAB. I keep getting a 404 error.. whatever that means.

Is it me?

Or are others having a hard time getting to the message board?

I don't know

I'm not sure if I'm the only one who can't find the Blender, but if so, I guess I'll find out.

If not, I don't know why it's down or when it will be back up. Sorry. If I hear anything, I'll keep you all posted :)
